The Google Cloud AI autonomous networking challenge
Unlock agentic-era autonomous networking to transform network operations and customer experiences.
The Challenge
Managing complex networks, solving network irregularities, and delivering consistent customer experiences are costly and resource intensive. Autonomous networking is enabling CSPs to solve business challenges with AI automation, and intent-based systems to transform network operations and customer experiences.
Building on the success of last year's Vertex AI hackathon, Google Cloud is proud to sponsor this in-person enterprise hackathon, taking place at the heart of DTW Ignite in June 2025.
We invite CSPs to come together with their partners, to experiment with cutting edge Google Cloud AI and AI optimized infrastructure to solve to real-world network challenges.
Your mission is to build modular, intelligent network-related prototypes. Teams will combine standardized TM Forum code frameworks with Google Cloud latest technology and AI optimized infrastructure. The goal is to build modular, intelligent network-related use cases that demonstrate progress towards autonomous network level 4, focusing on enhancing network automation, sustainability, or customer experience, leveraging technologies like Gemini 2.5 and agentic systems.
After the two-day hack, teams will deliver a working prototype and/or demo and a short pitch explaining the problem, solution, impact, and architecture.
