Anwar Alsubhi

Anwar Alsubhi, Cloud Services General Manager, leads Cloud’s Planning, Design, Implementation & Operation departments in stc Cloud Services General Department, he is responsible for stc Private Clouds holding both Telco and IT workloads on top of E2E Service Automation & Orchestration for IT / Telco Applications and also embraces the introduction of Digital & AI based Services at stc. He also drives Hyperscaler Interconnect Partnerships based on the Digital Transformation long-term strategy within Technology & Operations sectors in stc.

Anwar holds a BSc in electrical engineering and has 20+ years of technical experience in the Telco field. He served as the founding director of the Telco Cloud that have been awarded as 5G MENA best NFV/SDN Solution and rank 3rd by STL partners. Prior leading the Cloud Services General Department, He managed NGN, Security, IP Design and Network Core Design departments, his contributions included the development of latest stc organizational changes following an agile delivery-based approach which include Planned, build, Run methodology.
