Massimo Banzi

With a degree in Physics, I began my career at the Telecom Italia Group in 1994. Since 2010, I have held the position of Senior Standardization Manager, actively contributing to several Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), including TM Forum, ETSI, NGMN, and ITU-T. My focus areas include Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, particularly their impact on Telco Support Systems, network convergence, and virtualization.
Earlier in my career, following six years in R&D, I led the development of guidelines for the adoption of Open Source Software in business environments and served as Head of the Configuration Management Competence Center within Telecom Italia’s IT Department from 2000 to 2007.
In addition, I served as a Contract Professor at the Free University of Bolzano for over ten years.
