Campbell McClean has worked in the Telecommunications space for over 30 years. His career has encompassed delivery roles, architecture roles and advisory roles in a time period that moved from mainframe through to microservices on the cloud. His experience includes setting the architecture strategy for the integration of Orange UK and T Mobile UK to become EE, driving the Telefonica BSS transformation in Latin America, setting the strategy and architecture to allow Airtel to compete and win in the most disrupted market with the entry of JIO and supporting BT Group on its simplification and modernisation agenda.
As a chief architect, Campbell oversees the design and implementation of cutting-edge telecommunications solutions, driving efficiency, scalability, and reliability. His leadership has helped BT Group shift from a legacy monolithic landscape to a future, agile, Open Digital Architecture.
Campbell is passionate about mentoring the next generation of telecom professionals, sharing his knowledge and experience to inspire future innovation and excellence in the field.
