Chris supports IDC's telco transformation research in EMEA, with a core focus on telco strategies for BSS/OSS, cloud, and AI/ML. He has authored numerous reports on telecoms IT and network software, including on converged charging, partner management, 5G core, AI/ML, and uCPE. He is a research professional with more than five years' experience in the telecoms industry across IDC and Informa. He is a regular conference and webinar speaker, and has appeared at MWC, AI Summit New York, Broadband World Forum, and Africa Com.
He has a bachelor's degree in ancient history from Durham University, plays the tenor horn in his local brass band, and moonlights as an on-demand pub quizmaster for family, friends, and colleagues.
