Following the pandemic and the disruption caused to the events industry, our event contract and dates were rolled over to accommodate our traditional timeframe for DTW, and to suit the availability of the venue for FY23 & FY24. As a result, we had little flexibility on the specific dates we could run the event without the risk of losing our regular window in the annual event calendar.
It is recognised that the event dates for our 2024 edition, 18-20th June 2024, fall during Eid-al-Adha and whilst we have reviewed alternative options, proceeding with this date is our only viable option.
As a global organisation, we will of course be making sure that future event dates are accommodating of the global religious festivals and celebrations where possible.”
