Alex Martynov

Alex Martynov is a partner with Bain & Company, based in London. He joined the firm in 2010.

Alex’s expertise is in complex global technology-driven business transformations of large clients across Technology, Media and Telecom industries. His main focus is on full potential corporate strategy, performance improvement, cloud transformation, Agile/DevOps ways-of-working and operating model work.

Alex leads the techology agenda for Bain’s Communications, Media and Entertainment practice in EMEA. He also leads Bain-AWS partnership in the region. Prior to Bain, Alex was part of the early AWS team and launched one of the first cloud web services. He holds a number of patents in the area of cloud computing.

Alex has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, USA and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
