Dr. Gerd Niehage

Gerd Niehage has studied Computer Science and Informations-/Communications-Management. He achieved an MBA at the Mannheim Business School in Germany and the Tongji University in Shanghai/China as well as a Doctor of Business Administration from the Middlesex University in London.
After being the owner of a software company, Gerd Niehage started his career as consultant of the German public administration before changing 2003 to the automotive supplier HELLA, where he became 2013 global Chief Information Officer (CIO). He started 2017 in the same role with B. Braun Medical, a global Pharma and Medical Device Company, where he was responsible for the digital transformation of the group. He moved 2021 to Shanghai/China to lead the Asia/Pacific IT organization for the automotive supplier ZF and was globally responsible for IT innovations, Data/Analytics/AI and Enterprise Architecture.
Since March 1st, 2023, Gerd is CTIO and member of group executive board of the Swiss Telecom provider Swisscom and responsible for the business area infrastructure, network & IT.
