Edi Fernando Vieira Filho

Edi Fernando Vieira Filho is based in Madrid and is Head of Autonomous Network and Operations at Telefónica S.A., with the responsibility to foster the transformation of the Telefonica's Group Operators, pursuing Autonomous Operations supported by AI/ML and new ways of work.

He's also responsible at a corporate level for Network and Systems Operations and for the IT Asset Management program, including infrastructure licensing management models.

Edi holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Universidade Metodista de Sao Paulo (UMESP), with a Master degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Working for 30+ years in Telefonica Group, he has undertaken different positions inside the group, from Network Operations Engineer at Telefonica Brasil, Network Transformation Manager and Head of Network and Systems Operations at Telefonica S.A.
