Roberto Kung

Roberto Kung is Technology & Operation SVP in Sofrecom, the Orange consulting entity. He is active in TMF on Automation and ANMM.

Until 2023, Roberto has been SVP Operations at Orange, launching the Orange ANMM program in 2022. He has been responsible for the Orange Expert program bringing together the top 700 Orange experts on domains such as Network Technologies and Operations, Security, Data and AI, Software or Environment. The program also covers services aspects such as content, communication or transaction services.

Prior to that, Roberto has been Head of Core Networks R&D, Head of Lannion site, Head of network strategy, Head of Strategy & Planning for France Telecom’s long-distance. In the past, he has also been active in R&D, with the overall responsibility of the Intelligent Network Program, and responsible of the WG on IN at ITU-T.

Roberto Kung graduated from École Polytechnique in France and obtained a Telecom Engineering degree from Telecom ParisTech.
