Nicolai Schaettgen

Nicolai is a serial entrepreneur and visionary leader, dedicated to bridging the gap between high-growth tech companies and large corporates in the telecom ecosystem. As the Founder and CEO of Match-Maker Ventures (MMV), Nicolai has built a global platform that facilitates impactful collaborations—“Corp-Ups”—helping scaleups integrate seamlessly with telecom giants. Under his leadership, MMV has become a strategic partner for 16+ scaleups, with a presence in over 40 locations worldwide.

Prior to founding MMV, Nicolai was part of the global telecom leadership team at Arthur D. Little, advising multi-billion-dollar companies and financial investors. His experience spans 22 countries, giving him a unique global perspective on corporate strategy and innovation.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Nicolai serves on the Advisory Boards of several tech companies, lectures at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and is a regular keynote speaker on innovation and collaboration.

Nicolai holds a Ph.D. in Law and dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Law, with academic experience in Austria and the United States.
