Velamur Sudharsan

Sudharsan leads the Network System group for Verizon’s Global Services T echnology organization. Network Systems is responsible for building the software for key initiatives for our network including 5G, OneFiber, iEN and other technologies, wireline and wireless. Covering areas include Architecture, Planning & Engineering, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, Field Operations and Global Transformation.

Sudharsan is a senior global technology and operations leader and business visionary; maximizing organizational productivity through innovative technology solutions, building best-in-class teams, setting the strategic focus, and delivering beyond expectations.

Sudharsan has been with Verizon for 24 years and has successfully delivered large-scale transformation programs. He led the Platforms and Services team within the Consumer GTS organization; and brings a wealth of experience delivering solutions for our customers, stakeholders, and employees in partnership with the business teams.

His many accomplishments include:

• Effectively executing the Verizon Consumer North Star Architecture to enable new Omni channel experiences and business capabilities
• Leading the engineering practice transformation and employee experiences; with industry-standard SRE practices and end-to-end implementation of API-centric platforms
• Rationalizing and modernizing the rating and billing platforms in support of the Consumer and Enterprise businesses
• Successfully launching iconic device and eSIM activations for all digital and retail stores
