We begin at Castle Island – also called the Island of Power. See Christiansborg Palace, where the Danish Parliament is located, and hear all the dramatic stories attached to the unique place.
Afterward, we stroll through the oldest part of the city to Rosenborg Castle – a stunning Renaissance castle built by Christian the 4th. Today a museum is showing thousands of artifacts that used to belong to the Royal family. We will do a guided tour inside and see crowns and jewels in the Treasury in the basement.
We will end the tour at the Queen’s winter residence Amalienborg.
