Thomas Duecke

Thomas has been COO for Digital at BT Group since October 2021. He is responsible for driving BT Group’s modernisation and digital transformation.
Thomas’ responsibilities include digital strategy and transformation, strategic alliances, BT Group’s digital partnerships, as well overseeing the Digital unit’s investment planning, delivery performance, and risk and compliance. He has a strong background in implementing large scale transformation and change as well as sales, service, and operational performance improvements, providing valuable expertise and leadership. Thomas has a strong focus on outcomes and delivery and is passionate about delivering results for customers.
Thomas joined BT Group in 2006 and has held several leadership roles across the business in strategy, transformation, sales and customer services operations. Prior to his role as COO, Digital at BT Group, he most recently was Managing Director – Design, Delivery & Service Operations for Global.
During his 25-year career in the outsourcing, IT services and technology industry, Thomas has worked and lived in the UK, North America, Germany, The Netherlands, India, and The Philippines. He has a background in Business Administration and is a native of Vienna, Austria. He is married and lives in the UK.
